Family “Souper”

Café

St. Paul’s Souper Family Café provides a monthly Saturday hot lunch to 40-60 people in our neighborhood with activities for children. The Café complements the work of St. Paul’s Community Development Corporation’s Food Pantry by providing a hot, nutritious meal in our Parish Hall. Our volunteer team includes parish members and neighbors. In November we are joined by Christ Church, Teaneck, the St. Paul’s CDC and several other partners to provide a Thanksgiving luncheon for more than 500 people.

This year, 2020, St. Paul’s joyfully marks five years of the Souper Family Café. In that time span we have only missed six months: 2 snow storms and 4 months of Covid-19.

We welcome volunteers in many roles as we not only share a meal, but also provide listening ears, crafts for children as well as adults and a time of peace and reflection.
